Something to chew on ... Friday April 27

There was only one reason for holding the first childfree lunch with a group of childless friends: I didn't want to be asked - or to find myself asking anyone - 'do you have children?'

I'm  having another childfree lunch in Sydney on Friday, April 27th, and this time it's open to all-comers, more or less. There's only one criterion for entry which is that you don't have kids - not that you've managed to slough them for the day. This lunch is for women who, for whatever reason or circumstance, have not had children. You're allowed to feel terribly sad, or cheated, or angry, or elated - and not be judged for it.

If you'd like to come, please use this forum to stake your interest, or return to the www.childlressreflections.com site and go to the contact page where you can send a private message.

If you'd like to read the book that kicked off the childfree lunch idea you can order it by returning to the childlessreflections site. It's also at most book stores and online at Booktopia or Short Stop Press.

And if you'd like to join the online discussion - I'd love to hear from you.
